The faces behind the science

A total of 34 Principal investigators have teamed up to build this collaboration venture  specifically aimed at understanding the neural pathways underlying pain.

Besides the principal host, the Medical Faculty Heidelberg,  different groups from the Medical Faculty Mannheim, the Faculty of Bioscience as well as long term associates as the German Cancer Research Center , The European Molecular Biology Laboratory, The Central Institute of Mental Health (ZI), the Technical University Munich and the Max-Planck-Institute for Medical Research comprise this unique cooperation.
